Cancellation Policy

Your scheduled therapy time is reserved for you. If you are unable to make your appointment, please contact me at least 24 hours in advance. If an appointment is cancelled less than 24 hours in advanced, you will be charged for the full session fee.

This fee is put in place due to therapists having a limited number of available appointment slots in their schedule. When a client cancels at the last moment, it can be challenging for the therapist to fill that time slot with another client or activity, leading to lost income and potential disruptions to their schedule.

The cancellation policy also applies to clients utilizing their insurance as insurance companies do not reimburse the therapist for sessions that were canceled less than 24 hours in advance.

Good Faith Estimate

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your healthcare provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. You will receive a copy of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
